THE GATE OF FAITHFULNESS

The word faithful means steadfast, dedicated, dependable, obedient and worthy of trust. It’s derived from the Hebrew root meaning “to trust (a person),” or “to believe (a statement).” This is the same definition that gives us the word “amen” (“so be it”). The definition is that the one so described is trustworthy, dependable, trusting or loyal. Faithfulness becomes the catalyst that perpetuates mastery, when you’re determined and committed. To be faithful one should go on resolutely in spite of opposition, meaning you must learn to “persevere.” During this month you must put into motion your active trust and rest in passive trust as you allow the Lord to mature and strengthen your walk in Him.

THE MONTH OF KISLEV

Kislev is the ninth month on the Jewish calendar and the tribe associated with this month is Benjamin meaning “the most gifted with the art of the bow.” The tribe of Benjamin was known for their unwavering faith in God and their ferocious ability to battle evil. Because of the influence of the tribe of Benjamin this is a time where you are to shoot straight and move quickly in the Spirit, this is not the season to meander. Listen intently to the Lord and obey His directives by cutting off everything that hinders you! This is also the month when the covenant of the rainbow was reached, meaning, you need to be faithful to war in the Spirit until you have victory just like Noah stayed in the Ark until the Lord told him to exit it.
